After several months, some jailbreak users would have the chance to enjoy making the most of the new Cydia tweaks on the latest version of iOS 9. Personally, I had been craving for it just like you all.

Deep down I did believe that Pangu team is going to win the race. As per sources, the Chinese team has already started to work on iOS 10 jailbreak. Moreover, it had even demoed it at a function earlier this month. It would be absolutely great to have a go at the newest iOS ecosystem.

We expect some tweaks to get updated to support iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak. As this page will continue to get updated from time to time, stay tuned with it to keep track of your favorite tweaks.

By the way, what’s your feedback about this new jailbreak? Shoot your views in the comments below, on Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.

How to Re-Jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 with Pangu After Rebooting iPhone

Pangu jailbreak team has just released iOS 9.2- iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak. Though it’s a semi-jailbreak, a lot of iPhone users from around the world must be pretty happy to go full throttle at it. And why not, the latest jailbreak had kept jailbreak users waiting for quite some time.

Since the jailbreak is tethered, it requires jailbreak whenever you reboot your iPhone. As for instance, if you have rebooted your iOS device, you can’t just jailbreak tweaks or apps including Cydia unless you jailbreak again. I’m sure it’s a bit disappointing but you have got to take it as there is no alternative—at least for now.

How to Re-Jailbreak iOS 9.2- iOS 9.3.3

In order to re-jailbreak your iPhone running iOS 9.3.3, you don’t require PC. Even though may not be so comfortable as an untethered jailbreak, it’s easier than a tethered jailbreak.

How to Re-Jailbreak iOS 9.2- iOS 9.3.3 with Pangu After Rebooting iPhone

Step #1. First and foremost, you have to open the PP Jailbreak app on your iOS device.

Step #2. If you get a prompt to enable notifications from the app, tap on OK button.

Step #3. Next up, you will have to tap on the circle button in the center of the screen. Then lock your iPhone.

Step #4. After some time, you will get a notification from PP saying “Storage Almost Full”. Make sure to ignore the warning and do not unlock your iPhone.

Step #5. After the process has been successfully completed, your iPhone will respring.

Now, you can use Cydia as well as other tweaks installed on your iOS device as usual.

That’s all there is to it!

Pangu jailbreak tweak has once again proved its supremacy. According to reports, the famous Chinese jailbreak team is already working on the iOS 10 jailbreak.

What’s your assessment about semi-untethered Pangu jailbreak? Which is the one Cydia tweak which you are going to use most on your Jailbroken iOS device? Shoot your opinion in the comments below, on Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.

Step #8. Next, tap on the email address on the Device Management page which appears on you iPhone.

Step #9. Tap on Trust. Tap on Trust again to confirm.

Step #10. Now, return to the Home screen, and open the jailbreak tool. Next, you need to enable notifications and uncheck the box under the circle.

Tap on the circle, then lock your iPhone. Now, you need to wait for your device to respring. Once your device has rebooted, you will see Cydia raring to go on the Home screen.

As it’s a “semi-tethered” jailbreak, if you reboot, you will have to go through the steps again from 10 and 11 to use any jailbreak tweaks.

Though it’s not a full-fledged jailbreak, you would like to give it a try if you are willing to get the best use of new Cydia tweaks.

How to Search for Word Definition Right from iPhone Spotlight

There are several occasions when I come across a new word. To get the meaning of the word, I have to use third party dictionary apps on my iPhone. Though I don’t find it too difficult to define any complicated word using the available means, it would be quite helpful if there was a better solution.

Hopefully, Apple adds a dedicated dictionary app for its iOS devices sooner than later. I’m sure there would be a lot of iPhone users who would be waiting for a stock dictionary app on their device.

SearchDefine Cydia Tweak

SearchDefine Cydia Tweak: Search Definition for Word Right from the Spotlight on iPhone or iPad

There is an all new jailbreak tweak called SearchDefine that allows you to search for word directly from the Spotlight. Once you have installed this handy tweak, you will no longer have to go through the lengthy process to define any word.

iOS users have to take the help of Siri, web browsers or third party apps to quickly get the meaning of any difficult word. While Siri can help you define a word instantly, it has a lot of limitations like it doesn’t understand particular accents and you can’t use it while sitting in a class or meeting.

Web browsers do provide an instant meaning of any word. You need to have internet connection on your device and carry out a bit lengthy process. Third party apps are a good solution, but you need to install them on your device.

But, none of those mentioned above ways are more convenient than the one that this tweak offers.

How Does The Tweak Work?

After you have installed this tweak on your iPhone, swipe down from the middle of the Home screen of your device to bring up Spotlight. Type the word which you want to define in the text field. A dictionary section will appear on the screen with the definition of the word.

The jailbreak tweak uses the built-in iOS dictionary based on New Oxford American Dictionary.

Feedback

SearchDefine is a very useful jailbreak tweak which makes it pretty simple to define any word. In terms of functionality, it works like a native feature of iOS. I haven’t found any glitch while testing it out on my iPhone 6s.

Conclusion

This Cydia tweak deserves to be given a chance on your iOS device if you are looking for a quick solution to define any complicated word. Given the simple yet but handy functionality, it will live up to your both billing and expectation.

SearchDefine is available for $0.99 from BigBoss repo.

How to Sort Instagram Photos by Date on iPhone and iPad

I’m really fond of Instagram. The social networking app, with plenty of features to let you not just share your favorite photos or videos but also edit them as per your liking, has become a hot recipe.

However, the social networking app is not perfect and can’t fit into everyone’s taste. As an active user, I wish to add a new feature that can allow me to sort photos easily.

Sort Instagram Photos by Date on iPhone and iPad Using Chronofeed Cydia Tweak

Fortunately, there is a new jailbreak tweak called Chronofeed which lets you sort Instagram photos by date on your iPhone. So if you wish to give your photos a chronological look, this tweak can serve your purpose.

Works Like A Native Feature

The best thing about this tweak is that it works like a native feature of Instagram. Simply install it on your iOS device and it begins to work as desired.

There are no options to configure from Settings app. Hence, you don’t have to worry about setting it up rightly time and again.

Price and Availability

You can install Chronofeed from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free. As you don’t have to pay anything, give it a try on your jailbroken device. It would work perfectly without any glitch.

Wrapping Up

Chronofeed is a dead simple tweak and therefore may not impress most users at first sight. Nevertheless, given the user-friendly concept, you’d love to have a go at it.

Personally, I have been impressed with this tweak thanks to its simple functionality. Hopefully, Instagram takes note of it and adds the functionality to its official social networking app.
