The new iPhone 6s series have acquainted us with 3D touch, and opened doors to many new features. There’s still a long way to go to enhance this new technology. For now, we will have to rely on Cydia tweaks that play around 3D touch technology.
We all are familiar with folder options available on home screen to organize apps in a more systematic way. As of now, we need to tap on folder to see the apps and then tap on app to access it. This isn’t a calorie burning process, but yet when it comes to technology we need everything in one shot.
There’s a Cydia tweak to overcome this one extra tap. Appendix Cydia tweak is available for free on BigBoss repo. The tweak is compatible with 3D touch technology, and does its job flawlessly. Once you install the tweak, you’ll not need to set or configure anything; it just starts working automatically.
After you install the tweak, all you need to do is to 3D the folder and tweak will throw a pop up with first four apps inside the folder. Yes, for now the tweak only supports first four apps in folder. So if you want one of your favorite apps on list, make sure you place it in first four apps.
This is the only downside of this tweak, but there aren’t any other tweak doing something like this. In case you are not using iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, you should check our guide on how to get 3D touch on older iPhones.
