Bring Dictionary on iPhone Lock Screen: Locktionary Cydia Tweak

Dictionary is something that every one of us needs at some point in time. Whether we are traveling or drafting a professional Email, we might need to know the meaning of some or the other word. In my particular case, I refer the dictionary to expand my Vocabulary bank. Whatever may be the reason, if you have Jailbroken your iPhone or iPad, then install Locktionary Cydia tweak to get easy access to the dictionary from Lock Screen itself.

Locktionary Cydia tweak is available for free on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. The tweak is pretty small in size and will hardly consume any space or resources of your iPhone or iPad. The tweak also has its personal space under Settings app, from where you can enable/disable the tweak.

After you install the tweak, it starts working immediately following a respring. You won’t need to configure anything. You do have the option to enable/disable Auto-Lock or the entire tweak from the preferences section of the Locktionary. Now, when you lock your iPhone or iPad, you’ll see a text bar on the Lock Screen itself.

Simply, enter the word there and you’ll get the meaning of it instantly. I find this tweak very useful, as whenever I encountered with a word that I don’t know about, I just check it in the tweak to understand the meaning. Above all, it’s completely free, which makes it more promising.
