Even with less battery capacity, iOS and iPhone manage the power consumption perfectly. There aren’t many complaints when it comes to battery drain. Even then, people like me often forget to keep their iPhone in charging while it is not in use, ultimately ending up with low battery in times of emergency.
If you have Jailbroken iPhone running iOS 9, then there’s a Cydia tweak to charge your device quickly. The tweak is called Wolfram, and it is available for free on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. The primary job of the tweak is to turn on the lower power mode as soon as you keep your iPhone in charging.
The lower power mode uses less battery, which ultimately helps in faster charging. The tweak automatically disables low power mode as soon as you pull out your iPhone from charging. The tweak doesn’t do any other fancy stuff apart from this. Besides, the tweak also has its preference section under the Settings app.
Here you can activate or deactivate the tweak by toggling on/off switch. You can also activate disabling the lower power mode automatically when the charge has reached 100%, even if you haven’t pulled out the charger. Tweak is particularly helpful to people who often forget to remove their iPhone from charging.
This nifty little tweak is surely of great help to people who have a hectic schedule to charge their phone. Above all, it’s tiny in size and also consumes almost zero resources. So just head to the Cydia store and give this tweak a try.
