If you are using a Jailbroken iPhone and interested in modifying your device, then you would understand the importance of app’s bundle ID. It is often required when you are modifying some or the other thing related to any particular app. Earlier, it was a bit of tedious job, but now it has been as easy as tapping the app icon.

CopyBundleID is a new Cydia tweak that uses the 3D Touch functionality of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to copy app’s bundle ID to the clipboard. The tweak is available for free on Cydia’s BigBoss repo, and it’s quite small in size.

After you have installed the tweak, all you will need to do is to 3D Touch on any app icon on the Home Screen. In the Quick Actions menu, you’ll see a new option called “Copy Bundle ID.” Now, simply tap on that option to copy bundle ID of that particular app.

The function of the tweak is not limited to iPhone 6s series; it also works on earlier devices without 3D Touch functionality. To use it on older devices, you should have revealMenu or Forcy tweak installed, which simulates 3D Touch on unsupported devices.

There’s no configuration required after you have installed CopyBundleID on your iPhone, it just starts working. Also, there is no preference section of the tweak inside the Settings app. Lastly, the tweak supports stock as well as third-party apps, though it doesn’t seem to be consistent enough, which should be resolved in future updates.

CopyBundleID is surely an innovative tweak for all those who use this feature frequently. The only drawback as of now is its consistency with supporting apps. The same should be resolved in future, so give it a try.
