Many users around the globe have been reported to shift from Android to iOS. To make things easier for them, one of the developers has designed a tweak called AppDrawer. This tiny little Cydia tweak brings Android like app drawing feel on your iOS device.
Tweak is currently compatible only with Jailbroken iOS 8 and iOS 9 iPhones, and not with iPads. Installing this tweak is like having a cup of tea, as it does not require any settings or configurations. Once you install the tweak you will have an app icon labelled as “Apps”.
You can move this icon in middle of the bottom dock, in order to get exact Android like feeling on your iPhone. As soon as you tap on the Apps icon, all your home screen apps are aligned alphabetically and can be scrolled down in one go.
You also have liberty to hide certain apps or add frequently used apps to Favorites tab. In order to do so, you’ll need to open native Settings app and Toggle ON apps that you want to hide, or toggle ON the app that you want to add in favorites.
Apart from these two functions, there aren’t much of settings required to use this tweak. After playing around for a while with this tweak, there is a small improvement that’s needed to be done from developer’s side.
That is to enable a swipe gesture between normal “Apps” and “Favorites”. As of now, we need to tap on Favorites tab, which should ideally be a swipe gesture between two screens. Apart from that, tweak is really good and developer has promised for additional features and updates.
