If you are using a Jailbroken iOS 9 – 9.0.2 version, you should not update to latest iOS 9.1 for obvious reasons. As soon as you update to iOS 9.1, you will lose your Jailbreak. The only fascinating thing in iOS 9.1 so far is the bunch of new Emojis.
For Jailbreak community, it is definitely not a big deal, because there are many tweaks that can provide much better tweaks than Emojis. For now, we will stick with the Emojis; here we have come up with a tweak that will install all the latest Emojis included in iOS 9.1 into your iOS 9 – 9.0.2 Jailbreak device.
How to Get iOS 9.1 Emojis on iOS 9 – 9.0.2 on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Open Cydia from home screen.
Step #2. Tap on Search located at bottom.
Step #3. Search for Emoji iOS 9 Backup (D).
Step #4. Tap on Install located on top.
Step #5. Tap on Confirm and wait, as the file is pretty large.
Step #6. After installation is finished, press home button.
Step #7. Open Byta Font 2 from home screen.
Step #8. Tap on Swap Mode located in bottom menu.
Step #9. Tap on Emoji → EmOji_iOS 9.1 and tap on Yes when prompted.
Step #10. This will respring your device, and once it is done, you will have a set of new Emojis on your iOS 9-9.0.2.
There’s one downside of this tweak; it is in progress. Certain apps do not display Emojis as they are supposed to display. But the developer is still working on the fix and soon an update will be available. So don’t forget to check in Cydia for an update.
For now, this is the best possible fix for iOS 9 users wishing to have set of Emojis on their iPhone or iPad. Share your thoughts on the new Emojis with us in comment, and on our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus).
