The Maps app on iPhone and iPad supports turn-by-turn navigation feature to only a few countries. This makes this app almost unusable for people without navigation feature in unsupported countries. If you have Jailbroken your iOS 9, then there’s a Cydia tweak called “MapsAllCountries for iOS 9” to get navigation feature to unsupported countries.
The tweak is available for free on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and being very small in size; it takes hardly a minute to download and start using it. The tweak basically unlocks the barrier to support navigation feature. There are no preferences or settings to be done to use this tweak.
All you’ll need to do is to install and respring your iPhone or iPad and then start using Apple Maps app for navigation. The tweak is compatible only with Jailbroken iOS 9, so do not install if you are using earlier versions of iOS. The same developer has the same tweak for earlier iOS versions as well. MapsAllCountries is the earlier tweak to support iOS 6, 7, and 8.
The tweak is certainly very useful for those who tend to travel a lot. It becomes easy to navigate through streets, then to ask for directions every time. Apple should have addressed this limitation by now, but as it is not taken care of, we will have to rely on this Cydia tweak to get the job done.
