There’s one big down side of being a hardcore Jailbreaker; you keep trying different setups and then forget which one was the best. Every Jailbreak user has faced this some or the other time. As soon as a new theme or tweak is out, we rush to try it; messing with our current setup.
Now getting things back becomes little annoying, as we might not remember every tweak’s preferences. To solve this issue, there’s a tweak in Cydia which comes in handy. The tweak is called SetBack 9, available on ModMyi repo for $2. I have personally named this tweak as mini iTunes.
That’s because it saves the entire device’s setup: all tweak preferences, wallpapers, SpringBoard layout and applied themes, and almost everything else. Setting up the tweak is also very easy. All you need to do is to launch the app icon from home screen and tap the “+” icon.
This will let you save your setup, while holding on a particular setup will give you options likes: Update, Rename and Delete. If you want to get back to your old setup, all you need to do is just tap on the setup you saved earlier. SetBack 9 will start revert process and automatically respring your device once it is finished.
For now, the tweak is working for both iOS 8 and iOS 9. There is just one bug on 32-bit devices, but developer has promised to resolve it as soon as possible. Apart from that, tweak is worth couple of dollars. Did I mention that you can create as many setups as you want? So start backing up your Jailbreak resources for later use.
