There are many instances when we are reading an e-book or doing some or the other thing on any app and we need to search the web for more information on a particular topic. We need to go back to Home Screen and launch Safari or any other browser to search for the topic on the web.

The efforts of searching the web are now reduced if you have Jailbroken your iPhone or iPad. A new Cydia tweak called TextSearchPro will let you search the web from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad. The tweak is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repo and you’ll need to spend $0.99 to get hands on this tweak.

Search The Web From Anywhere On iPhone TextSearchPro Cydia Tweak

TextSearchPro uses either Activator gesture or FlipSwitch to invoke the features. Once the tweak is launched, a small pop-up will be presented in front of you where you can insert the text. You can search for the term on the web or use built-in iOS dictionary database to look for the definition.

In the preferences section under Settings, you can configure different options of the tweak to select from the different search engines list. If you chose to search the web, the tweak will automatically open the browser after you have entered the search text. The search result will contain all the relevant information pertaining to your query.

In addition, the browser has basic functionality to bookmark the page, back, and forward options. As said earlier, the tweak isn’t free but surely worth the price looking at the usability of the tweak.
