You dream it, and you do it. That is what I feel after I Jailbroke my iPhone 6. Apple has set some limitations in iPhones & iPads, but the Jailbreak community is doing wonderful tasks.
Regularly, I receive awesome tweaks in my mailbox. These tweaks are functional as well as beautiful; this means they are equally serious about user experience while iPhone & iPad users using a tweak on their devices.
Recently, I was brooding over a thingummy – whether I could get to know the indication on media volume I have set. As expected, I couldn’t find a way out in the stock apps given by Apple iPhone. But I stumbled upon a tweak: SpeakerStatusBar.
SpeakerStatusBar Cydia tweak developed by Chikuwa, can show you whether media volume is on or off.
Once you download and install this Jailbreak tweak, you can see an icon in the Status Bar showing two states: one shows that media volume is on; you can listen to something when you play audio or video. Another state is that media volume is off or mute, and you won’t be able to hear anything.
This tweak doesn’t work in the case of Bluetooth volume or of ringer volume. However, it shows information on media volume that you can hear while media is being played. So before you play any media, you get to know if the volume is ready for media playback. If the media volume is too high, this tweak won’t work. Maybe, the developer would like to work on this in future.
The tweak will be shown in Settings screen, from where you can toggle ON and OFF; moreover, you can also change the location from right align to left align. Just toggle Align Left ON and Respring the iPhone.
Download this tweak free from Cydia’s BigBoss repository right now. SpeakerStatusBar is compatible with iOS 7 and later.
